Job summary

RangerFS is seeking a Fire & Security Commissioning Engineer in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You’ll commission and test fire alarms, security systems and TECS equipment, fault-find to final completion, and collaborate with design and install teams to deliver top-tier projects.

The role requires strong commissioning and electrical testing skills, the ability to troubleshoot under pressure, and knowledge of fire & security standards. Client communication is essential for successful handovers.

Qualifications

• Strong commissioning and electrical engineering skills.
• Solid experience with electrical testing and verification.
• A knack for troubleshooting and solving problems under pressure.
• Knowledge of fire & security standards.
• Confidence communicating with clients and colleagues.
• Experience in the Fire & Security sector (ideal but not essential).
• Relevant electrical/technical qualifications.
