Fire Alarm Service Engineer - London & South East

Morgan Fire Protection specialises in planned and corrective maintenance of fire detection systems and portable extinguishers. While most of our operations are based in London, we provide national coverage through our reactive delivery model. We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our team servicing the London and South East region.

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum

Requirements

Who We're Looking For: In addition to qualities like a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work independently or as part of a team, we seek candidates with:

• Experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer or similar role
• Experience maintaining and servicing fire detection systems
• Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., BS 5839)
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving license
• Availability to participate in our on-call rota (additional pay applies)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on fire detection systems at customer sites
• Conduct testing, inspections, alarm activations, visual inspections, and functional checks
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work
• Respond to emergency call-outs and undertake repairs
• Provide excellent customer service and foster good client relationships
• Report faults or issues to relevant teams
• Stay updated with industry regulations and new technology
• Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies
