Job summary

Protec Fire & Security Group Ltd is seeking an Electrical Service Technician in the United Kingdom to carry out regular servicing, reactive maintenance and commissioning of fire detection and emergency lighting systems.

You will ensure up-to-date knowledge of British Standards and complete all relevant documentation, with a 40-hour week plus overtime and on-call options. A strong electrical background and customer-focused approach are essential, along with a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience/competence.
• Experience of working within the electrical/electronic sector.
• Familiarity with safe working practices and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with Customer Services Team, comply with work instructions and Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical circuits and measuring devices; undertake training where necessary.
• Act as Company Ambassador with smart appearance and diplomatic communication to strengthen customer relationships.
• Regular servicing and reactive maintenance of Fire Alarm and related systems.
• With relevant training, commission Fire Alarm and related systems.
• Maintain accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork.
