Job summary

Protec Group is seeking an on-site Fire Alarm installation and commissioning technician for projects across the Midlands, Wales, and other UK regions. The role involves installing new systems and additions to existing installations, with emphasis on safety and client relations.

Candidates should have electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ etc.) and be able to work 40 hours per week. Training will be provided to maintain circuit knowledge and measuring device proficiency.

Qualifications

Full Electrical based qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ, ONC, HNC in electrical field.
Experience with installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems is preferred.
Commitment to Health & Safety guidelines on site and company standards.

Responsibilities

Install and commission Fire Alarm and associated equipment on client premises.
Maintain knowledge of circuits and measuring devices; undertake necessary training.
Install cable management systems such as tray and trunking.
Work within Health & Safety guidelines to ensure safety of yourself and others.
Keep the work environment clean and respect client premises.
Act as a Company Ambassador; be smart, pleasant, and capable of diplomatic communication.
Use hand and powered tools safely and appropriately.
Perform other duties commensurate with the position.
