Job summary

Protec Fire & Security Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is looking for a field service engineer to carry out regular servicing, reactive maintenance and commissioning of fire detection, emergency lighting and related systems. You will work as part of an area team, respond to on-site service calls, and undertake necessary training.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience/competence.
• Experience in electrical/electronic sector.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and measuring devices.
• Experience with fire alarms and related systems.
• Familiarity with health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular servicing and reactive maintenance of fire alarm and related systems.
• Commissioning fire alarm and associated systems when trained.
• Maintain high standards of paperwork for customer, company and personal records.
• Undertake on-call duties as part of the Area Team.
• Communicate effectively with staff at all carrying levels within the company.
