Job summary

Pointer Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to cover the Birmingham and Coventry area. You will install, test, and commission fire alarm systems per design specs and industry standards, perform maintenance, and resolve faults to prevent false alarms.

The role requires knowledge of major fire systems (Honeywell, Hochiki, Advanced, Ziton, Kentec, Morley), a full UK driving licence, and a proactive approach to safety and client service. We offer career development and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fire industry standards.
• In-depth technical expertise in fire alarm and protection systems.
• Physically fit with height access.
• Understanding of health and safety practices (risk assessments/JSAs).
• Current driving license and UK work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems per designs and standards.
