The Resourcing Team is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer for the Manchester region to perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections of fire alarm systems on client premises. You will diagnose faults, test components, and ensure compliance with UK safety standards while providing expert on-site support.

Candidates should have FIA/BAFE certifications and strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently or with a team across multiple client sites in the Manchester area.

Responsabilités

Fire Alarm Engineer - Manchester region

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Manchester area, United Kingdom, for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections of fire alarm systems on client premises
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently
• Testing of detectors, call points, sounders, and control panels on client and customer premises
• Ensure compliance with British Standards (BS 5839)
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records using company software.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients whilst on sites.
• Respond to emergency call-outs when required
• Ensure all work meets UK fire safety regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle whilst adhering to company policies.

Qualifications / Experience

• Strong knowledge and experience in Fire alarm system servcing and testing
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire safety systems (e.g., FIA, BAFE certifications) are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently and solve technical problems effectively.
• Working along side other engineers to ensure projects are completed within certain timeframes.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work in the UK
