ProGroup Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing fire safety business. You’ll service, maintain and repair a range of systems across occupied residential properties, delivering high workmanship and customer service.

The role offers a clear progression route into senior and commissioning roles, a structured training programme including FIA modules, a company vehicle and regular overtime with opportunities to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with both conventional and addressable systems.
• Knowledge of Honeywell, Apollo, Kentec and Gent desirable.
• Customer-facing skills and a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and remedial repairs.
• Carrying out small works, including like-for-like replacement of fire alarm components.
• Working on a variety of manufacturers' systems, including Honeywell, Apollo, Kentec and Gent.
• Accurately completing service documentation and reports.
• Providing a professional service when working within occupied residential buildings.

ProGroup Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing and well-established fire safety business.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of fire alarm systems across occupied residential properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Routine servicing of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
• Fault finding, diagnostics and remedial repairs
• Carrying out small works, including like-for-like replacement of fire alarm components
• Working on a variety of manufacturers' systems, including:
  • Honeywell
  • Apollo
  • Kentec
  • Gent
• Accurately completing service documentation and reports
• Providing a professional service when working within occupied residential buildings

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with both conventional and addressable systems
• Knowledge of leading manufacturers such as Honeywell, Apollo, Kentec and Gent is desirable
• Comfortable working in occupied residential environments with excellent customer-facing skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
