The Resourcing Team is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer for the Manchester region. This full-time, on-site role involves servicing, maintaining and inspecting fire alarm systems on client premises, diagnosing faults and providing on-site support.

You will test detectors, call points, sounders and control panels, ensure BS 5839 compliance and complete reports using our software. A valid UK driving license and ability to work in the UK are required.

Fire Alarm Engineer - Manchester region

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Manchester area, United Kingdom, for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections of fire alarm systems on client premises
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently
• Testing of detectors, call points, sounders, and control panels on client and customer premises
• Ensure compliance with British Standards (BS 5839)
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records using company software.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients whilst on sites.
• Respond to emergency call-outs when required
• Ensure all work meets UK fire safety regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle whilst adhering to company policies.

Qualifications / Experience

• Strong knowledge and experience in Fire alarm system servcing and testing
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire safety systems (e.g., FIA, BAFE certifications) are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently and solve technical problems effectively.
• Working along side other engineers to ensure projects are completed within certain timeframes.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work in the UK
