The Resourcing Team is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer for the Manchester region to perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections of fire alarm systems on client premises. You will diagnose faults, test components, and ensure compliance with UK safety standards while providing expert on-site support.

Candidates should have FIA/BAFE certifications and strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently or with a team across multiple client sites in the Manchester area.

Qualificações

• Experience servicing and testing fire alarm systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults accurately and efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Certifications in FIA/BAFE are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and with other engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections of fire alarm systems on client premises.
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently on site.
• Test detectors, call points, sounders, and control panels.
• Ensure compliance with BS 5839 and other UK fire safety regs.
• Complete service reports and maintain records in company software.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on site.
• Respond to emergency call-outs as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle per policy.
