Job summary

FinOps Weekly is seeking a hands-on FinOps Lead to steer cloud financial management across Azure and Private Cloud for a financial services client. You will lead a FinOps team while delivering cost models, insights, and governance to enable data-driven decisions.

You will own cost management tooling, develop dashboards in Power BI, collaborate with Cloud, Data and Infra teams, and support audits and regulatory reviews. Strong stakeholder mgmt and experience in regulated environments are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven FinOps or cloud financial management experience.
• Strong Azure and Private Cloud cost modelling knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for modelling and reporting.
• Understanding of cloud cost drivers and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead FinOps team, set objectives and performance standards.
• Design and deliver FinOps services for financial services needs.
• Develop and maintain cost models across Azure and Private Cloud.
• Drive cost optimisation while ensuring performance and resilience.
• Deliver dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Own cost management tooling and cost transparency.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Data and Infra teams to improve visibility.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews and compliance activities.
