Job summary

Hays seeks a FinOps Internal, Cloud & Telco Cost Manager to drive cost transparency, governance, and optimisation across cloud, internal IT, and global telco networks. You will lead cost modelling, budgeting support, and vendor invoice validation, partnering with Finance and Procurement to align with governance standards.

This role requires strong FinOps expertise, ability to translate complex cost data into actionable insights, and proven stakeholder management across global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong FinOps practices and cloud cost management expertise.
• Experience with cost modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation.
• Proficient with BI tools for cost analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own FinOps processes across cloud, internal IT, and telco services.
• Manage cost transparency dashboards with allocation, consumption, and showback models.
• Analyse cloud spends and recommend optimisations like rightsizing and reservations.
• Validate invoices from cloud, telco, and software licensors; coordinate with vendors.
• Collaborate with Finance for forecasts, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Produce cost insights for leadership to guide investment decisions.
