Job summary

FinOps Weekly is seeking a hands-on FinOps Lead to steer cloud financial management across Azure and Private Cloud for a financial services client. You will lead a FinOps team while delivering cost models, insights, and governance to enable data-driven decisions.

You will own cost management tooling, develop dashboards in Power BI, collaborate with Cloud, Data and Infra teams, and support audits and regulatory reviews. Strong stakeholder mgmt and experience in regulated environments are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven FinOps or cloud financial management experience.
• Strong Azure and Private Cloud cost modelling knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for modelling and reporting.
• Understanding of cloud cost drivers and governance.

You will drive cost transparency, optimisation strategies, and financial governance aligned to regulatory and operational requirements. This is a player/coach role, leading a FinOps team while remaining hands-on—shaping cost models, delivering insight, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.
