Manufacturing Recruitment Ltd seeks a Cloud FinOps Analyst to drive financial accountability and cost transparency across Azure and Snowflake. Hybrid role based in Leicester, with one day per week in the office near Leicester station.

You will lead FinOps optimisation, embed governance frameworks, and collaborate with Engineering, Data, Cloud Operations, and Finance teams to enable a cost-efficient, data-driven cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead FinOps optimisation across cloud and data platforms with focus on Snowflake and Kubecost to drive cost efficiency.
• Analyse cloud and Snowflake spend, identify trends and optimisation opportunities, and provide clear financial and technical recommendations.
• Implement and track cost-saving actions such as rightsizing, workload scheduling, and warehouse optimisation.
• Develop and enforce cloud and data platform cost governance frameworks including tagging and budgeting.
• Oversee cost observability tooling to ensure visibility of usage, forecasts, and budget performance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and financial reporting for cloud and Snowflake platforms including chargeback/showback models.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Cloud Ops, and Data teams to embed cost-awareness and support planning cycles.
