Job summary

FinOps Weekly in the United Kingdom is seeking an AWS FinOps Specialist to drive cost efficiency across AWS environments. This hybrid role requires collaboration with architects, engineering teams and senior stakeholders to embed FinOps principles and influence cloud adoption at scale.

You will optimise cloud spend for large-scale government and regulated programmes, with eligibility for DV clearance and a path to DV.

Qualifications

• Experience applying FinOps principles to optimise cloud cost and efficiency in large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, pricing models, and cost management tooling.
• Proven ability to influence cloud architecture decisions with cost considerations in mind.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and aligning cloud strategy to business objectives.
• Ability to build business cases and present data-driven recommendations.
• Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
