Job summary

Telefónica Tech UK&I is seeking a FinOps Consultant to drive cost optimisation and efficiency in cloud environments. You will design and implement FinOps capabilities to maximise value from public cloud investments for diverse clients.

The role requires hands-on FinOps experience with cloud cost tools and the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Some travel to client sites and our London HQ will be needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FinOps experience with cloud cost optimisations.
• Strong knowledge of the FinOps Framework and lifecycle.
• Experience with native and third-party cloud cost tools.

This is a hands-on and customer facing role helping organisations design and implement FinOps capabilities to continuously optimise spend and deliver maximum value from their public cloud investment. Key Responsibilities: Collate, analyse, prioritise cloud cost optimisation recommendations and calculate potential savings and benefits using FinOps tools Implement rate and usage optimisations within public cloud environments (Azure, AWS and GCP) Create high quality customer facing collateral explaining cloud cost optimisation and FinOps and present them to customers, both technical and non-technical Design and implement FinOps maturity roadmaps for customers to accelerate their FinOps capabilities from scratch or optimise existing approach Design and deliver training and enablement sessions to raise their understanding of cloud finance and economics Collaborate with pre-sales, professional services and managed services to design and implement cost optimisations recommendations and best practices.
