Job description

GAR (Global Accounts Receivable) is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Collections Analyst responsible for managing and resolving receivables-related queries from Amazon customers. The role involves supporting customers to resolve billing issues, reconcile accounts, and achieve monthly collection targets. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick to learn, demonstrates strong ownership, and can build trust with customers to facilitate timely payments.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Understand the Accounts Receivables process.
2. Follow up with customers via email and phone to ensure timely payments for assigned accounts.
3. Maintain detailed records of correspondence to keep aging reports current, apply credits and collections, account for uncollectible amounts, and clear miscellaneous differences.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders (Billing, Finance, Legal, Tax, Customer Service) to resolve disputes and queries, and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
5. Monitor high-risk accounts and escalate challenges promptly to management.
6. Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience.
7. Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying improvement areas.
8. Meet monthly productivity goals.
9. Reconcile complex accounts with excellent attention to detail.
10. Manage manual email queues and allocate them appropriately.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce (B. Com).
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable (collections), or general ledger.
