FinOps Analyst - AR, Global Account Receivables

GAR (Global Accts Rec) is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Collections Analyst responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to resolve accounts receivable queries received from Amazon customers. The role involves supporting customers to resolve billing issues, reconcile accounts, and achieve monthly collection targets. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick to learn, demonstrates strong ownership, and can earn customer trust to facilitate timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Understand and manage the Accounts Receivables process.
  2. Work from the office 5 days a week; flexible for Night Shift.
  3. Follow up with customers via email and phone to ensure timely payments.
  4. Maintain detailed records of correspondence, update accounts receivable aging, and ensure accuracy in credits, collections, and uncollectible amounts.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders (Billing, Finance, Legal, Tax, Customer Service) to resolve disputes and queries, and maintain good relationships.
  6. Monitor high-risk accounts and escalate issues promptly.
  7. Continuously seek ways to improve customer experience and streamline processes.
  8. Meet monthly productivity goals.
  9. Reconcile complex accounts with high attention to detail.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce (B. Com).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable/receivable, or general ledger.
