Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking a Finishing Manager in Birmingham to lead and deliver all internal and external finishes on a fast‑paced development. You will drive quality, safety and programme performance, ensuring a smooth handover.

You will own finishes from first fix to handover, coordinate with Site, Design and Commercial teams, and manage subcontractors to achieve right-first-time outcomes. CSCS and SMSTS/ IOSH are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of finishing trades and sequencing.
• Experience delivering finishes on complex residential schemes.
• Solid understanding of H&S legislation and best practices for finishes.
• Experience managing subcontractors, inspections, snagging and handover processes.

Responsibilities

• Health & Safety compliance across finishes works and subcontractors.
• Own finishes packages from first fix to handover and align with programme milestones.
• Manage finishes programmes, develop short-term schedules and coordinate multiple fronts.
• Identify risks, oversee quality inspections and ensure drawings/specifications are met.
• Coordinate design information, procurement and delivery of finishes packages with site/design teams.
• Lead subcontractor meetings covering H&S, quality, programme and performance.
