Job summary

Finishing Manager position based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on a major commercial construction project. 2-month contract with daily rate £280-£300. You will oversee all internal finishes, manage snagging, coordinate subcontractors and ensure handover readiness.

The ideal candidate has proven finishing experience, strong knowledge of quality standards, CSCS and SMSTS, and excellent communication to liaise with site management and clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Finishing Manager or similar role on large projects.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong knowledge of internal finishes and snagging processes.

Rate: £280-£300 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join a major commercial construction project in Belfast.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all internal finishing works across the project.
• Inspect finishes, decoration and fittings to ensure high-quality standards.
• Manage snagging and ensure defects are rectified ahead of handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades on a daily basis.
• Monitor progress and ensure finishing works remain on programme.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finishing Manager, Finishing Foreman, Finishing Supervisor or Site Manager.
• Strong commercial construction and fit-out experience.
• Excellent knowledge of internal finishes and snagging.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Valid CSCS card.
• SMSTS qualification.
• First Aid qualification desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience on large-scale commercial projects.
