Fawkes and Reece is seeking a Temporary Internals Supervisor/Manager for up to 12 months in Birmingham City Centre. You will lead finishing works on Student Accommodation projects, supervise subcontractors, and report to the Main Site Manager daily to ensure quality and programme adherence.

The role requires strong internal trades background, proven finishings experience on large schemes (£10m+), and familiarity with Fieldview. CSCS essential; SMSTS preferred. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• It is vital that you have been involved with large fit-out projects in excess of £10m from a finishes perspective.
• Specifically on Student Accommodation Projects.
• Internal trades background required.
• CSCS essential.
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Snagging of studios and corridors.
• Able to manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure high quality is met and maintained on site.
• Confidently approach subcontractors to challenge quality when required.
• Maintain snagging programmes and be proactive.
• Overall supervision of all internal finishing works.
• Manage sub-contractors to prioritise work.
• Liaise with sub-contractors.
• Ensure Site team adheres to H&S compliance on site.
• Ensure quality of works meets client demands.

Fawkes and Reece have a Temporary Internals Supervisor / Manager position located in Birmingham City Centre for up to 12 months work - working for a well-established, main contractor in the UK. Our client specialises in key construction projects such as new build Student Accommodation

For this role it is vital you have been a Finishing Foreman / Supervisor / or Manager with finishing experience on multi million pound Student Accommodation projects. You will report to the Main Site Manager on a daily basis.

This role is to start as soon as possible for up to 12 months work for the right candidate

Key responsibilities:

• Snagging of studios and corridors
• Able to manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure the high quality is met and maintained on site
• Applicants need to be confident and competent to approach the various subcontractors and to challenge their quality if and when required
• Being proactive and ensuring they understand and maintain the snagging programmes
• Overall supervision of all internal finishing's.
• Manage sub contactors to prioritise work
• Liaising with sub-contractors.
• Ensure the Site team adhere to H & S Compliance throughout the Site.
• Ensure the Site team adhere ensure quality of works meets the clients' demands.
• You must have Main contract experience in contracts in excess of £10m.
• Previous Finishing's experience for 2 years plus on Student Accommodation projects
• You MUST be able to demonstrate a proven as finishing / snagging supervisor experience - with record of accomplishment with previous employers confirming length of service and continuity of employment.

Previous experience:

• It is vital that you have been involved with large fit out projects in excess of £10m from a "Finishings" perspective. Specifically on Student Accommodation Projects.
• It is essential that you come from an internal trades background.
• Previous knowledge of using Fieldview
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
• CSCS essential
