Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a diligent Waiter to deliver refined, attentive service to our members and guests.

You will greet guests, take orders, make recommendations, and ensure smooth payment, collaborating closely with floor and kitchen teams to uphold the Club's standards of discretion and excellence. In this role you'll maintain a pristine dining environment, accommodate dietary needs, and support a personalised experience from seating to bill payment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and remain calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful to guests and colleagues.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and guests, introduce menus, and engage guests upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, accommodating allergies or dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and pairings.
• Maintain exemplary table service and proactively top up beverages.
• Keep the dining area clean and setup/reset tables as required.
• Handle member requests and special accommodations to create memorable experiences.
• Facilitate payments via card, Soho House App, or House Pay.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially with VIPs and PWKs.
• Support team success by attending briefings, tastings, and assisting colleagues.
