Citizens Advice 1066 is looking for a compassionate and motivated Financial Wellbeing Adviser to work in partnership with Seaview Project (https://www.seaviewproject.co.uk), supporting people who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or moving into settled accommodation.
This is an opportunity to join two well-established local organisations working together to help some of the most vulnerable people in our community. By providing practical advice, support and advocacy, you'll help clients improve their financial wellbeing, maximise their income, manage debt and develop the skills needed to maintain independent living.
Working closely with Seaview Project staff, housing providers and partner agencies, you'll deliver specialist financial inclusion support using a person-centred and trauma-informed approach. You'll build trusted relationships with clients facing a range of challenges, including homelessness, poor mental health, substance misuse, social exclusion and financial hardship
