Job summary

BDO in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Manager for Financial Services Advisory (Internal Audit) to plan and deliver internal audit engagements, build strong client relationships and provide value-driven assurance. You will collaborate with senior managers, Directors and Partners to understand client needs and manage multiple tasks across projects in the UK financial services sector.

Qualifications

• Proven internal audit and/or regulatory assurance experience gained within, or working with, Financial Services organisations.
• A strong understanding of the Financial Services sector and the UK regulatory environment.
• Experience delivering a range of internal audit and advisory assignments, with a sound understanding of internal audit methodologies, frameworks and techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, engage and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
• The ability to lead complex reviews, manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
