Job summary

BDO UK LLP in London is seeking an Assistant Manager within the Financial Services Advisory (Internal Audit) team to plan and deliver internal audit assignments and regulatory advisory engagements while building strong client relationships.

You will develop specialist sector and regulatory knowledge and work with senior managers, Directors and Partners to expand our services for financial institutions across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven internal audit and/or regulatory assurance experience within Financial Services organisations.
• Strong understanding of the Financial Services sector and UK regulatory environment.
• Experience delivering internal audit and advisory assignments with sound methodologies, frameworks and techniques.
• A recognised professional qualification and/or membership (ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA/CIIA) or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to lead complex reviews, manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approach.
