About the team

Our Accounting, Advisory and Compliance Solutions team provides high-quality work and service to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements under FRS102 and the Companies Act, as well as supporting them with additional accounting and advisory support. Our clients range from SMEs, entrepreneurial and private clients, to larger organizations based both in the UK and internationally, from sectors including manufacturing, services, education, and retail.

About the role

• You will focus on preparing statutory financial statements primarily under FRS 102 and FRS102 (A) for UK companies.
• This includes preparing statutory accounts for clients, including consolidated accounts, consolidation workings, cash flow reporting, and complex accounting disclosures, usually using our accounts preparation software CaseWare.

What are we looking for?

• Qualified accountant with broad practical accounting experience and statutory financial statements preparation expertise.
• Proven experience in preparing UK GAAP (FRS 102) statutory accounts for various businesses, including large groups.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, often working on several sets of financial statements simultaneously.
• Recent experience working in a practice accountancy environment.
• Experience in preparing both audited and non-audited financial statements, including those under parental guarantee.
• Experience coaching and guiding junior team members.
• Experience with CaseWare is preferable but not essential.
