Your main duties will also include the provision of quality supporting information to facilitate an effective statutory audit process.

This role can be based out of our Strand or Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and review annual statutory accounts and other external reporting matters, ensuring compliance with financial deadlines and regulations.
  • Serve as the key relationship point for local audit relationships at the Senior Manager and Director level.
  • Oversee the Business Unit (BU) input to the Group consolidation process, ensuring high-quality, timely, and consistent monthly reporting.
  • Prepare externally reported semi-annual group financial reporting packages and conduct analytical reviews of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow results monthly.
  • Maintain an effective control environment for Financial Reporting, including SOx and Non-SOx controls, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Support the development of technical training, provide complex accounting input for BU/function-specific needs, and maintain close liaison with other Centres of Expertise to enhance business knowledge and technical acumen.
What You'll Have
  • Financial statement reporting and technical accounting principles (IFRS).
  • Ability to prepare and articulate complex financial topics and disclosures to the external accounts.
  • Accounting and Reporting Pronouncements.
  • Transaction and close process management.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk and controls and compliance standards.
  • Being able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Influencing and managing indirectly through matrix structures and dotted reporting lines.
  • Business Software and Applications (ideally including SAP and ICON).
What You'll Get

Competitive Salary dependent on experience.

Plus:

  • Up to 15% Annual Bonus (based on personal and company performance).
  • 28 days annual leave, plus eight statutory days in addition.
  • The option to buy additional or sell holiday days every year.
  • A generous contributory pension scheme - we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%
  • Financial support to help cover the cost of professional membership subscriptions.
  • Life Insurance 10 x base salary.
  • Family care benefits including a back-up care service for when your usual care arrangements fall through (six paid days each year as standard with the option to purchase further days)
  • Access to apps which support health, fitness, and wellbeing.
