Job summary

Morgan Stanley Glasgow is seeking a Financial Reporting Associate to join the Financial Reporting Team. The role involves preparing hedge fund financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS, and compiling audit packs for interim and annual audits.

You will work closely with Client Facing Account Managers and fund accountants, ensuring timely deliverables, strict adherence to internal controls, and clear communication with auditors. ACCA/ICAS or accounting degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ICAS or relevant professional accounting degree.
• Experience with hedge funds, asset managers or fund administration is preferable.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS and accompanying schedules.
• Assist auditors and provide backup data for disclosures in financial statements.
• Ensure financial statements are delivered within deadlines and aligned with internal controls.
• Collaborate with the financial reporting team to deliver statements for hedge fund clients' audits.
