Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Glasgow is seeking an Associate to join the External Reporting team. You will produce European statistical reporting and contribute to regulatory and process improvement projects within a dynamic finance function.

The role reports to a Director and collaborates with Global Product Controllers, Finance Technology, and Legal Entity Control to maintain robust reporting and control environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial and regulatory reporting for financial services.
• Experience handling large datasets and performing data quality checks.
• Strong communication and ability to escalate issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Preparing external regulatory balance sheet reports.
• Preparing commentary and analysis to support the reporting.
• Ensuring production timetables and deadlines.
• Trouble shooting data issues during quarterly production.
• Responding to review questions on disclosures.
• Presenting disclosures and analytics to Finance Senior Management.
• Building understanding of disclosure requirements and Morgan Stanley policies.
• Maintaining written procedures and key controls.
