Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Glasgow is seeking a Financial Reporting Associate to join the Financial Reporting Team, working with client-facing managers and fund accountants to prepare statutory accounts and audit packs for hedge funds under US GAAP/IFRS.

You will help ensure timely delivery, support interim and annual audits, and maintain compliance with internal controls while developing accounting expertise within a leading global financial services firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ICAS or relevant accounting degree.
• Experience with accounting firms, asset managers or hedge fund administrators is preferred.
• Experience preparing financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and notes for hedge funds under US GAAP/IFRS.
• Support timely delivery of statements for interim and annual audits.
• Assist auditors with backup data for disclosures in the financial statements.
• Ensure statements are produced within deadlines and comply with internal controls.
• Follow internal control policies and procedures.
