Job summary

National Wealth Fund invites applications for a Financial Crime Manager in the Risk & Compliance function. This five-month contract role reports to a Senior Manager and focuses on enhancing the financial crime framework, delivering a proactive second-line strategy, and overseeing due diligence for new transactions.

The role requires supporting FCA regulations, conducting risk assessments, mentoring staff, and presenting risk reports to Executive Committees.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial crime functions within regulated environments.
• Experience in developing and implementing financial crime frameworks.
• Experience in risk assessments and investigations related to financial crime.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Compliance Manager in delivering the Compliance strategy and monitoring plans.
• Develop and maintain the Financial Crime framework with input from key stakeholders.
• Conduct financial crime risk assessments and oversee client risk assessments to mitigate risks.
• Oversee customer due diligence keeping in line with FCA, Money Laundering Regulations and JMLSG guidance.
• Provide advice to the first line of defence on financial crime matters.
• Monitor and improve financial crime controls and report findings to senior management.
• Engage in audits and regulatory investigations as required.
• Deliver training on financial crime prevention to colleagues.
• Prepare regular risk and compliance reports for Executives and Boards.
