Job summary

National Wealth Fund is seeking a motivated Analyst - Financial Crime on a fixed-term contract of 10 months. Hybrid work with a Leeds office, supporting the implementation of the financial crime framework and related risk controls.

You will gather and review information, prepare summaries, and escalate concerns as needed, contributing to risk assessments and maintaining robust records within the second line function.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of financial crime risks and UK regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Undertake allocated due diligence activities for new and existing counterparties.
• Research corporate structures and beneficial ownership, documenting findings clearly.
• Complete sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening using approved systems.
• Gather evidence and prepare initial counterparty risk assessments for review.
• Assist with monitoring and testing activities under supervision.
