The National Wealth Fund in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Manager in Financial Crime for a 5-month contract. Hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Leeds office.

You will lead the second line of defence for financial crime, developing strategy and ensuring compliance with FCA rules. You will act as DMLRO, oversee customer due diligence, and work with senior management to monitor controls, investigations, and reporting to the Board.

Competenze

• Substantial experience in financial crime within a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience building and implementing a Financial Crime framework.
• Experience in investment banking or infrastructure finance desirable.
• Degree level education with ICA or CISI qualification.

Mansioni

• Support the Head of Compliance by developing and embedding the Compliance strategy and related policies.
• Develop and maintain the Financial Crime framework and drive improvements across the Fund.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify financial crime risks.
• As Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer provide expert advice to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Oversee customer due diligence to FCA, Money Laundering Regulations and JMLSG guidance.
• Monitor and review the effectiveness of financial crime controls and lead investigations.
• Prepare and present reports on financial crime risks to Executive Committees and the Board.
