Job summary

Randstad Financial & Professional is seeking a high-calibre Financial Controller to lead the back-office General Ledger function for the UK & Ireland Division. You will act as a trusted advisor, lead a team, ensure accounting integrity, and drive modern process improvements, automation, and digital analytics across the region.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Proven track record in Record-to-Report, balance sheet management and close processes.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk governance and audit readiness.
• Experience leading teams, managing change and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Own General Ledger and Balance Sheet integrity across the division.
• Lead and develop the General Ledger team, driving resource deployment and cross-skilling.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with timely reporting.
