Job summary

Randstad Finance seeks a high-calibre Financial Controller to lead the back-office General Ledger function across the UK & Ireland division. The role acts as a trusted advisor, driving process improvements, automation, and evolution.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with strong R2R, controls, and balance sheet experience, and a proven track record in leading teams and managing change in a complex divisional setup.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong accounting principles.
• Experience in Record-to-Report, balance sheet, and month-end close.
• Experience in governance, controls, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own General Ledger and Balance Sheet across the division.
• Lead and develop a GL team and drive capacity.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, year-end closes with timely reporting.
• Drive automation, AI, and analytics in finance processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audits.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize processes.
