Huntress Search Ltd in London is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee day-to-day finance operations, lead a small team and drive improvements in reporting and controls. The role focuses on SME or professional services environments with WIP and project accounting, and supports an ERP implementation.

You will manage month-end close, profitability analysis and reporting, while ensuring compliance and process improvements across the finance function.

Qualifikationen

• SME or professional services background with WIP and project accounting experience.
• Experience leading a small finance team and month-end close.
• Experience with VAT, payroll and audits.

Aufgaben

• Lead month-end close across UK entities and prepare management accounts.
• Oversee WIP, project costs, revenue and profitability reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the finance operations team (billing, credit control, accounts payable).
• Manage quarterly VAT returns, payroll submissions and audits.
• Support ERP implementation and drive reporting improvements and automation.
