Huntress in London is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to oversee day-to-day finance operations, strengthen controls, and support ERP implementation. You will lead a small finance team, manage month-end close, profitability reporting and VAT/compliance.

You'll bring ACA/ACCA or equivalent, with SME or professional services experience, and a proactive approach to improving processes. Hybrid working, three days in the office, and a supportive, employee-owned environment.

Qualifikationen

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as Financial Controller, or ready to step up from Senior Finance Manager.
• SME or professional services background with solid WIP, project accounting and project profitability.
• Experience leading a small finance team and overseeing month-end, management accounts, VAT and financial controls.
• Experience managing payroll processes and supporting audit requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience; knowledge of UNIT ERPx advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Lead month-end close across UK entities and prepare monthly management accounts.
• Oversee WIP, project costs, revenue and profitability reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analyses for senior stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance operations team across billing, credit control and accounts payable.
• Manage quarterly VAT returns, oversee outsourced payroll and related tax submissions, and coordinate audits.
• Support the implementation of a new ERP system and drive reporting improvements and automation.
