Job summary

NXTGEN is working with an established Norfolk manufacturer to recruit a hands-on Financial Controller. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the accounts while helping the business make better use of its ERP investment and improve the finance function.

As Financial Controller, you will work closely with the owners and wider business to drive continuous improvements, oversee year-end reporting, payroll, and audit coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing year-end accounts and managing reporting requirements.
• End-to-end payroll experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems to improve reporting and reduce manual processes.
• Able to engage with business owners and provide clear financial information.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the accounts, including year-end preparation and quarterly reporting for lenders.
• Run end-to-end payroll and manage associated pension requirements.
• Coordinate audit requirements and maintain effective financial controls.
• Support credit control and oversee finance matters for smaller group entities.
• Make better use of the ERP system to improve reporting and reduce manual processes.
• Provide clear financial information to support decisions across the business.
