Job summary

NXTGEN is recruiting a Finance Assistant to join a successful organisation based in North Norfolk. This Finance Assistant role offers far more variety than a traditional transactional role, with exposure to several businesses operating across property, land, leisure and other commercial activities.

You’ll join a friendly and established finance team, working closely with both the Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts or financial administration, including purchase or sales ledger.
• Good transactional foundation with ability to manage own workload.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external finance queries.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices from receipt to payment
• Support supplier payments across multiple businesses
• Raise sales invoices and record incoming payments
• Perform bank postings and petty cash reconciliations
• Keep financial records accurate and up to date
• Assist finance team during busy periods
