Job summary

Bayman Atkinson Smythe Ltd is recruiting a Financial Controller for a fast-growing fintech business. You will lead a small finance team, delivering accurate reporting, strengthening controls and building robust processes as the business scales.

Reporting to the MD with access to the CFO, you’ll own financial reporting, statutory accounts, external audit, cash flow forecasting and budgeting, plus finance systems and automation to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Audit-trained ACA or ACCA with strong technical accounting skills.
• Experience in financial services or a regulated environment would be valuable.
• Excellent reporting, controls and process improvement capabilities.

We’re recruiting a Financial Controller for an ambitious, fast-growing fintech business. This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys the technical detail of finance—delivering accurate reporting, strengthening controls and building robust processes as the business scales.

Reporting to the MD, with access to the parent company CFO, you’ll lead a small finance team and take ownership of:

• Financial reporting, statutory accounts and the external audit.
• Internal controls, revenue recognition and client money oversight.
• Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and group reporting.
• Finance systems, automation and process improvement.

We’re looking for an audit-trained ACA or ACCA with strong technical accounting skills, an enquiring mind and the confidence to take responsibility. Experience in financial services or a regulated environment would be valuable.
