Job summary

Bayman Atkinson Smythe Ltd is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller for our fast-growing fintech business. This role reports to the MD and collaborates with the group CFO to drive accurate reporting and robust controls as we scale.

Audit-trained ACA or ACCA and strong technical accounting skills are essential. You will own financial reporting, statutory accounts, internal controls and ensure compliant revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• Audit-trained ACA or ACCA with strong technical accounting skills.
• Experience delivering statutory accounts and external audits.
• Ability to strengthen internal controls and scale finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, statutory accounts and external audit.
• Own internal controls, revenue recognition, and client money oversight.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting and group reporting.
• Oversee finance systems, automation and process improvements.
• Lead a small finance team and report to MD with access to CFO.
