Job description

Lotus Natural Foods, the healthy snacking division of Lotus Bakeries and a portfolio of 5 brands: BEAR, TREK, nakd., Kiddylicious, and Peter’s Yard, each with its own distinct proposition. You will report to the Finance Director, focusing on Peter’s Yard's financials, processes, and reporting, along with cross-group projects. The main responsibilities include:

1. SOF Peter’s Yard
2. Managing, controlling, forecasting, and reporting of the business finances.
3. Full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility, supported by a GL Accountant.
4. Month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and reporting.
5. Recurring and ad-hoc performance reporting.
6. Costing and yield analysis for bakery suppliers.
7. Budgeting and forecasting with stakeholder input.
8. Providing insight, analysis, and challenge to the Managing Director and leadership team.
9. Profitability analysis to identify growth opportunities.
10. Audit coordination for Peter’s Yard.

Group Natural Foods UK

1. Creating tools for demand planning to financial view conversion.
2. Participating in SAP S/4HANA testing to ensure system fit.
3. Supporting group projects to align tools and processes across businesses.
4. Providing team support during absences.

Profile

We seek a qualified accountant with a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and experience managing month-end processes and stakeholder relationships. A degree in finance or related field, advanced Excel skills, and experience with SAP are preferred. You should be adaptable, proactive, and capable of handling multiple projects efficiently.
