Join an up-and-coming, fast-paced business in Tyne & Wear that’s on a strong growth trajectory. We’re seeking a Financial Controller to work closely with a high-calibre leadership team, gain full exposure across the business, and play a pivotal role in driving performance and decision-making.

The Opportunity

You’ll work directly with the senior management team across operations, commercial and strategy. This is not a back-office reporting role—it’s about real business partnering, problem-solving, and helping steer the company forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and cashflows
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to deliver insight and challenge
• Support strategic projects including system improvements, pricing models and cost analysis
• Develop and implement internal controls and reporting improvements
• Assist with budgeting, year-end audit, and board reporting
• Newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or finalist with strong experience)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• A proactive, commercially minded attitude—ready to learn and contribute
• A strong sense of ownership and ambition to grow into a senior leadership role
• Hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days home)
• True exposure across the whole business and senior leadership
• Ongoing mentoring and career development toward a Head of Finance or FD path
• Modern, collaborative office space with free parking and a supportive culture
