Job summary

KCR Solutions Limited in Consett is seeking a Finance Controller to oversee all company finances. You will produce monthly management and statutory accounts, manage budgets and forecasts, and handle tax and payroll tasks.

The role requires a qualified accountant or equivalent experience, with strong IT skills in Xero and Excel. You will report to the MD in a dynamic, growing business in the North East of England.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or qualified by experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting to senior management.
• Handle corporation tax, VAT returns and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse project costings against revenue and assist grant funding applications.
• Manage payroll, PAYE and VAT submissions to HMRC.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Manage cashflow and intercompany invoicing; credit control.

KCR are delighted to be working exclusively to recruit a Financial Controller for a dynamic business in Consett. Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for all the companies' finances. Duties will be as follows:

• Producing monthly management accounts and statutory accounts
• Responsible for budgets and forecasts and reporting to senior managers
• Dealing with corporation tax, VAT returns and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaising with team members to discuss progress on job costings
• Analysing project costings against revenue
• Exploring and applying for grant funding opportunities and applications
• Dealing with payroll and submitting PAYE and VAT to HMRC
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Cashflow management and intercompany invoicing
• Carrying out credit control and arranging terms
• Providing accounting information to external bodies

You will be a qualified Accountant or be qualified by experience. You will have strong IT experience, including Xero and Excel. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company.
