Job summary

Frankland Automation are seeking a Financial Controller in Coventry to lead day-to-day finance within a globally known engineering and automation business. You’ll oversee a five-person team, own reporting, cash, controls and audit, and report to Head of Finance & Administration.

Start ASAP; salary £55,000–£65,000 plus bonus and benefits. This newly created role offers breadth across projects and product sales, with exposure to senior management decisions and a shape-your-own remit.

Qualifications

• Hands-on finance leadership in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience with reporting, cash flow, controls and audit.
• Based in Coventry, UK and eligible to work full-time.

I’m recruiting a Financial Controller for a globally known engineering and automation business in Coventry. Following a planned restructure of their UK&I business, they’re introducing a Financial Controller reporting to a broader Head of Finance & Administration. This role offers a team of five to lead, ownership of day-to-day finance, and a newly created position you can help shape.

Having met the team, the role's appeal is its breadth. You’ll be close to engineering projects and product sales, understand where the money is coming from, challenge forecasts, and help the senior team make better decisions. You’ll also own the fundamentals: reporting, cash, controls, and audit.
