We are recruiting a Financial Controller for a successful and growing privately owned manufacturing business based in Worcestershire.

This is a broad senior finance position offering a good mix of financial control, management reporting, commercial analysis and team leadership. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day finance function while providing the insight needed to support business performance and future growth.

The role would suit an experienced Financial Controller or Finance Manager who enjoys being hands‑on, developing a team and working closely with operational and commercial colleagues.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the month-end process and production of management information

• Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who can combine strong financial control with the ability to see the bigger picture.

You will ideally have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or be suitably qualified by experience
• Experience within a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar role
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow experience
• Previous experience managing or developing a finance team
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills
• A proactive and analytical approach
• The confidence to work with and influence senior stakeholders
