Recruit 121 is excited to be working with an international client who are looking for a Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity as my client is VC backed and will give you exposure to working with some big players in the market.

The organisation is going through a restructure, making this a great opportunity for a driven individual to make their mark!

You will be responsible for reviewing all processes and procedures and redefining/simplifying report consolidation. Experience dealing with overseas branches is preferred but not essential.

You will handle various stakeholders both internally and externally.

The role suits someone with strong financial expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

1. Month-end duties, including management accounts production, accurately and timely.
2. Managing the finance department daily, ensuring compliance with procedures.
3. Collaborating with the Finance Director on budgeting and cash flow management.
4. Overseeing supplier payments planning and arrangement.
5. Addressing financial concerns, optimizing processes, and ensuring accuracy.
6. Implementing cost-effective practices within budget constraints.
7. Generating accurate financial reports and managing financial documentation.
8. Preparing board reporting packs as required by PE parent.
9. Handling both B2B and B2C financial transactions.
10. Staying updated on regulatory compliance and financial best practices.
11. Managing health and safety procedures within the financial department.
12. Collaborating with other departments for financial insights.
13. Working with operations to ensure stock accuracy.
14. Managing a small finance team.

Personal Specification

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience leading a team.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
