We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Cambridge who are hiring for a Financial Controller on a full-time basis. The role offers a hybrid working model, and candidates should have experience in a similar position.

Typical duties include:

1. Overseeing the day-to-day accounting function and ensuring processes are carried out accurately and timely.
2. Preparing management reports and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
3. Leading the financial year-end and audit processes.
4. Preparing financial statements to manage and monitor cash flow effectively.
5. Leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
6. Supporting treasury functions and monitoring cash flow forecasts.
7. Producing month-end accounts and reporting financials to senior leadership.

You will have:

1. A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
2. A strong technical skillset and a desire for continuous development.
3. Effective communication skills for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
4. Experience managing a team (preferred).
