An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Financial Controller to join a high-performing team supporting a large-scale UK manufacturing operation. The business operates at a significant scale, with 1000 employees globally and a substantial cost base, making this a pivotal role within the organization.

This is a hands-on, senior-level position working closely with the Finance Director and managing the wider finance team. The role combines strategic partnership with operational detail, providing a strong platform for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing insightful financial analysis and performance reporting across key programs
• Overseeing investment plans and capital projects for manufacturing sites
• Supporting ongoing systems transformation (ERP/SAP implementation)
• Leading cost management, EACs, and balance sheet processes
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across finance and manufacturing functions

Required Skills & Experience:

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a finance leadership role
• Experience within manufacturing environments
• Confident business partner and communicator, with experience managing or mentoring teams
