Post-Trading FinTech
Are you looking for a natural route to your first Head of Finance role?
Or perhaps you’re simply seeking more flexibility to work from home?
This FinTech start-up aims to revolutionise the post-trading space in the UK and across Europe. They are about to go live, making it a fantastic time to join.
You will be the firm’s first Finance hire, with the potential to develop into a Head of Finance role over time.
The company offers a flexible working policy: you can work remotely, go into the London office daily, or choose a hybrid approach—whatever suits you best.
Initially a standalone role, you will manage the firm’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and accounting standards, and oversee complex cash flows related to investment and trading activities.
You will be responsible for driving the firm’s financial strategy, managing all financial reporting—including the ICARA process—and ensuring adherence to capital adequacy and liquidity requirements.
You will lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity management, maintaining sufficient capital reserves for operational and regulatory needs, with appropriate controls for escalations and reporting.
The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with strong experience in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management within a MIFIDPRU environment. You should be fully familiar with relevant regulations and possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
